Skills/Responsibilities:
- Function as primary liaison to clients on behalf of the agency with regard to tactical, service-related, and agency policy issues
- Evaluate copy, layout/artwork, media plans and production materials with the account team and make suggested revisions prior to concepts being submitted to client
- Help client evaluate the effectiveness of developed marketing programs and determine next steps
- Track financial forecasting, tracking and reporting and flag any potential projected income variance to senior management
- Work with senior account managers to define key strategic issues and their impact on client/agency objectives
- Provide constructive evaluation of strategic documents and creative briefs and offer appropriate direction when needed
- Nurture the career development of junior team members by providing mentoring and ongoing feedback
- 5+ years relevant experience within an ad agency account management role

This
position is responsible for the market strategy, in-market execution and
business results of assigned brand(s).
This position reports to the North American Director of Lens
Marketing.
Specific Job Duties:
- Developing annual operating plans, delivery of topline
sales and development of revenue and expense forecasts. Responsible for
aligning US marketing and sales teams accordingly to achieve revenue and profit
goals.
- Leading development and execution of marketing strategies
and initiatives, both direct to consumer and to eye care practitioners
including advertising, promotion, pricing, public relations. Recommend
appropriate marketing and communications mix to achieve business goals.
- Developing and executing new product launch strategies and
plans for product and commercial initiatives.
- Identifying and turning consumer/brand insights into
actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the
business.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of product line sales and
consumption performance and recommending appropriate actions to refine
marketing plans.
- Overseeing effectiveness of programs and initiatives
including success tracking criteria. Track and share successes and best
practices.
- Working directly with the Global Franchise Organization,
R&D and Operations to qualify and launch new product initiatives and new
clinically-based product claims to enhance product appeal to practitioners and
consumers.
- Leading cross-functional teams in support of key
initiatives, inclusive of customer marketing, market research, commercial
strategy and insights, finance, operations, human resources, global franchise,
R&D, and customer service.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of consumer healthcare, consumer packaged goods,
vision care, medical device and/or pharmaceutical marketing experience
required.
- Significant experience in traditional Brand Management
role(s) or a combination of marketing and sales experience in a related
healthcare category is required.
Demonstrated evidence of growing brands.
- Background in business planning, and comfort in managing financial information needed.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
required.
- Ability to travel as required attendance at business
meetings, industry meetings or working with key customers. Anticipated travel
10-15%.

The SAD will operate as the strategic lead for the peer-to-peer channel, including management of the tactical plan for one of our largest accounts. The SAD must provide leadership, direction, and support to the team as it relates to the strategic objectives of the account to ensure all tactics are aligned with the overall brand objectives. The main focus is on providing service to the account that meets or exceeds clients’ expectations by providing peer-to-peer innovative recommendations and measurements to move their brand forward. The SAD will drive the initiating process of a project, including the ownership of the strategic project plan. The SAD will collaborate with procurement in the identification of external partners to execute various tactics for the brand. The SAD will also drive the planning process of a project, including the development and management of the tactical plan.

Essential Functions

Education and Experience:

The primary responsibility includes a strong ability to communicate and consult with marketing, medical, sales, education, and training associates and managers within the pharmaceutical/ healthcare marketplace. Position will consult with product marketing teams in the development of cost effective communications strategies to educate and change behavior of a defined target audience. This position will also develop and present business proposals to existing marketing and medical clients in order to expand our existing client business. This role is responsible for managing client expectations, physician opinion leaders, and strategic partners along with collaborating with operations and scientific affairs teams in fulfillment of multiple projects.
- Build and expand relationships with Product/Brand Associates and Managers as well as Clinical Faculty of Fortune 100 pharmaceutical and health care companies
- Define, develop and fulfill creative communication marketing and medical education strategies, including: consultant/advisory strategies, video/audio conferences, live meeting events, publication/print programs, and various other direct communication strategies
- Develop and implement sales targeting plan and strategic business forecast leading to improved sales revenue
- Liaise with client and internal team on defining expectations and meeting business targets for defined client customer
Essential Functions:
- Lead the development of client relationships in existing accounts
- Develop a deep understanding of product lifecycle models, communication offerings, product marketing, and competitive/external environmental factors
- Lead the team in strategic planning for a therapeutic product class, product or disease area. Responsible for brand planning, calls with AORs, and proactive account recommendations
- Develop, present and execute marketing strategies and proposals for existing clients

- Coordinate with Client Services and Scientific Affairs management on defining internal team and responsibilities
